We couldn't decide on the name of our artist so we wrote down our top 3 names and we asked 15 people to choose which one they thought was best suited to be an artist for this song. The name that got the most votes was "Inka" as it received 10 votes.

Simulacra and Simulation

Baudrillard came up with the theories of Simulacra, Simulation and Hyperreality. Simulacra is when a sign loses its relation to reality and turns into a simulation of reality. hyperreality is the outcome of living in a Simulacra, this is when something is "more real than real". A key example that Baudrillard identified was Disneyland as the "fake nature" satisfies our imagination in a real life form.

Song change

We have decided as a group that the song choice we have made is not fitting with our ideas. We feel as though we will be able to work better with a more upbeat song. We have therefore made the decision to make a music video for the song "i need a dollar" by Aloe Blacc. This song will allow us to use a wider variety of shots and be able to further explore our editing techniques.
