Simulacra and Simulation

Baudrillard came up with the theories of Simulacra, Simulation and Hyperreality. Simulacra is when a sign loses its relation to reality and turns into a simulation of reality. hyperreality is the outcome of living in a Simulacra, this is when something is "more real than real". A key example that Baudrillard identified was Disneyland as the "fake nature" satisfies our imagination in a real life form.
