Last year, our AS coursework was to create a film opening, this year for A2 we need to create a music video. Although we can use the skills we gained last year there are also new techniques we need to learn. An average music video is 3-4 minutes long however our film opening was only 30 seconds.
There are similarities between the film opening and the music video as they both require storyboarding, research and planning, filming, editing etc. However, as we will need more shots in the music video we may have to broaden our knowledge in all these areas so it doesn't becoming boring or repetitive as we have to keep our audience for a longer amount of time.
