We decided that we liked the overall vibe and messages portrayed through old R&B style music videos. We wanted a song that gave an empowering feeling to women and allowed all listeners to pick up on this. We also wanted a song that would allow us to make a positive video that related to the lyrics.
This song is based on past experiences she has had and how she is trying hard to overcome them and forget 'him' and stay positive. It involves her keeping in mind what has happened in the past but allowing herself to move on and be optimistic about what is to come in her life. She wants to have 'peace of mind' instead of focusing on the negative thoughts.
Also, there is currently no video to this song which means that we can use our imagination to portray the lyrics in the way we interpret them.
